Unofficial tool

LIC is an independent, fan-made companion application for Rust. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Facepunch Studios, Valve or Steam. Rust and Rust+ remain subject to the terms and policies of their respective owners.

License

LIC Free is provided as a limited personal-use version. Users may share the official LIC Free download-page link, but may not sell, modify, repackage or falsely represent the application as their own product.

LIC Pro provides a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license for one user on one computer. Each license key may be activated on one machine. License keys, activated application data and Pro installers may not be shared, sold, published or used by multiple people. Moving a license to another computer may require purchase verification and a manual reset by DECENT.

LIC Cloud access is licensed separately. Cloud accounts and passwords may not be shared, resold or used to provide unauthorized access to other people.

Purchases and refunds

LIC Pro purchases are processed by Gumroad. Refund eligibility is governed by the refund policy displayed at purchase, Gumroad's applicable policies and mandatory consumer law. A refunded, disputed, charged-back or cancelled purchase may result in deactivation of the associated license or service.

Acceptable use

You may not redistribute or resell LIC Pro, license keys or Cloud credentials; circumvent Free-edition limits or license verification; reverse engineer, modify or bypass LIC security except where applicable law expressly permits it; access another person's account, server, devices or information without authorization; violate the rules of Rust, Rust+, Steam or Gumroad; or attack, overload, probe or interfere with LIC Cloud or another user's service.

Automation responsibility

LIC automation relies on Rust+, network connectivity, paired Storage Monitors, Smart Switches and user configuration. Users must verify that the correct switch, output box, recipe and timeout are selected. Rust+ cannot change an Industrial Crafter blueprint, so shared-crafter production may require manual intervention. Users are responsible for supervising automation and using Emergency Stop when required.

Availability and updates

Rust+, Steam, Facepunch servers, game updates or third-party API changes may temporarily or permanently affect LIC features. DECENT may update, modify, limit or discontinue LIC features where necessary for security, compatibility, maintenance or legal compliance.

No warranty

LIC is provided "as is" and "as available," without guarantees that every alert, calculation, event, automation or Rust+ connection will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, DECENT is not responsible for in-game losses, missed alerts, incorrect configuration, interrupted production, lost materials, Rust+ downtime, network failures or third-party service failures. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
